I first picked up a camera in 2013, and I took that Nikon D5100 with me everywhere. I began posting daily photos on social media and was soon asked to photograph a friend’s wedding. While I had no real clue what I was getting myself into, it was a beautiful experience, and the couple loved their photos.

Since that first wedding in 2014, I’ve photographed countless weddings, portrait sessions, elopements, and all kinds of moments in between. I am a Christian, and I believe that all I am and all I do flows from my faith in Jesus Christ. I hope to be fully transparent with those seeking my services—especially for weddings—and I must make this next statement clear: I hold to the biblical definition of marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

I understand this may not be the prevailing view today, and some may consider this belief to be hateful. This is my conviction, and I recognize that it may make me an unsuitable fit for some people. Photography is more than just the click of a button; it’s about moments created with the people you love. You should feel completely confident and comfortable with the photographer you trust to capture those moments.

A little more about me: I am married to my beautiful wife, Madai. We do not have children yet, but we are eagerly in prayer for that blessing. We have a miniature Goldendoodle named Marshal. He drives us a little crazy, but we absolutely love him. We now live in Meridian, Idaho, and are originally from Fillmore, California, a small agricultural town in Ventura County where we were born and raised.

I’m an avid runner, a UFC fanatic, and a conversationalist. In my earbuds, you’ll usually find podcasts or an eclectic mix of liked songs on Spotify. Some of my favorites podcasts include The Shawn Ryan show, Ask Pastor John, and Haunted Cosmos. When it comes to music, I tend to listen to folk, country, or modern hymns.

I’d love to know more about you when you inquire, so feel free to share some of your favorite things when you reach out!
